Owner – operator Captain Trent Brown of Little Blackfoot Outfitter was born in Richland, Washington. Trent spent his youth fishing and hunting the Pacific Northwest. He later worked in researching raptors, songbirds, moose, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elk, deer, bison, and wolves, by catching them out of helicopters. Trent’s expert knowledge gives him the ability to not only to put you on fish, but allows you to see Montana in a new light. Centrally located in Elliston Montana, Trent now enjoys some of the best fly fishing and hunting with his wife Lauri and daughter Codi Rose. Outfitter # 33332

Little Blackfoot Outfitter’s core guides are all USCG licensed Captains. Passionate and hardworking guides that provide patient instruction and top shelf equipment. Our professional guides will work tirelessly; putting you on fish while providing the best Montana fly fishing experience available.
Captain Jeff is a passionate outdoorsman, a father and husband. Jeff splits his time between South Carolina and Montana. Guiding for Redfish and Tarpon along the South Carolina coast. But once the prolific hatches hit Montana, Jeff can be found on the Missouri River system.
Captain Shafter has guided and outfitted in the Florida Keys, Everglades, Louisiana, and South Carolina. After spending a lot of time in the west his love for big country and wild trout finally pushed him to make a full time move to Helena Montana where he now lives with his wife and two children.
